Narita Airport

To Tokyo

Tokyo, Shinagawa, Shibuya or Shinjuku: start by checking JR Narita Express (N’EX), especially for a direct JR destination.
Nippori or Ueno: check the reserved-seat Keisei Skyliner; Nippori also connects to the JR Yamanote Line.
A participating hotel or major bus stop: a limousine bus can avoid stairs and transfers, but road traffic affects arrival time.

Typical guide: N’EX reaches Tokyo Station in just under one hour; Skyliner reaches Nippori/Ueno in roughly 40 minutes. Check today’s official timetable.

HND

Haneda Airport

To Tokyo or Yokohama

Shinagawa, Asakusa or Yokohama direction: check the Keikyu Line and confirm the destination shown on the train.
Hamamatsucho or a JR connection: check the Tokyo Monorail, then transfer at Hamamatsucho if needed.
A participating hotel or major stop: compare a limousine bus when luggage makes a direct road route easier.

Official airport estimates are about 15 minutes to Shinagawa and 20 minutes to Hamamatsucho. Times vary by terminal and service.

KIX

Kansai Airport

To Osaka or Kyoto

Tennoji, Osaka, Shin-Osaka or Kyoto: check JR HARUKA and confirm that your chosen train stops where you need.
Namba: check the reserved-seat Nankai Rapi:t or the regular Nankai Airport Express.
A participating hotel or other Kansai destination: compare an airport bus and confirm whether it leaves from your terminal.

Official airport estimates: HARUKA about 30 minutes to Tennoji, 50 to Shin-Osaka and 75 to Kyoto; Rapi:t about 34–39 minutes to Namba.

Five checks that prevent the common mistakes

1Confirm the airport code and terminalNRT, HND and KIX are different airports. At KIX, some Terminal 2 travelers must use the free terminal shuttle for train access.
2Search the hotel’s nearest station and exitA hotel name alone may match several locations. Save the address and nearest exit offline.
3Count transfers with luggageA few minutes saved on the express train may be lost on stairs, a long station walk or a crowded local train.
4Check reserved-seat and redemption rulesN’EX, Skyliner, HARUKA and Rapi:t products can have different seat, ticket and voucher procedures. An online voucher may not be the boarding ticket.
5Check the final service after landingAllow time for immigration, baggage and Customs. Public transport does not run all night, and road services can be delayed.

Do not board only because the train says “airport” or “express”

Confirm the operator, direction and destination display. At Haneda, some Keikyu services continue in different directions; at Kansai Airport, JR and Nankai use separate ticket systems.
