Tokyo Station: choose the counter, not just the station
Sagawa inside Tokyo Station Ichibangai: Haneda or Narita
The Sagawa Tokyo Station Nihonbashi Exit service center is on Tokyo Station Ichibangai 1F (Marunouchi 1-9-1), open 07:00–21:00. Its same-day airport cutoff is 11:00, with delivery estimated from 16:00. A 160 cm / 30 kg bag is listed at ¥3,100 to Haneda or ¥3,650 to Narita; bags outside the limits need a separate check. Ask staff which airport terminal and collection desk will hold your bag. Sagawa's online pre-application form does not accept same-day delivery requests, so arrange that service at the counter rather than assuming an online storage reservation covers it.
ecbo cloak Marunouchi: near Tokyo Station, Haneda T3 only
The published Keikyu–ecbo trial uses ecbo cloak Marunouchi at Marunouchi 1-5-1 B1, roughly a one-minute walk from Tokyo Station—not inside the station. The announcement lists drop-off 09:00–14:00 and collection at the luggage-delivery counter beside the escalator on level 2 of Haneda Airport Terminal 3. Published prices are ¥1,600 for up to 120 cm, ¥2,100 for up to 160 cm and ¥3,700 for an oversized bag. The Keikyu announcement says collection ends at 20:00, whereas ecbo's provider page displays a later time; confirm the present service date, payment method and binding collection hours directly before relying on it.
Keisei Ueno: a direct Narita option
At the Keisei Ueno Station luggage counter, hand over the suitcase by noon. The Keisei group's published service lets you collect it from 16:00 to 21:00 at a JAL ABC counter in Narita Terminal 1 North Wing or Terminal 2. Its ¥4,000 suitcase price includes temporary storage, delivery and tax; the stated limit is 200 cm across three sides and 30 kg. Sports equipment is listed separately at ¥5,000. Do not go to the airline's JAL check-in desk merely because the collection agent is called JAL ABC. If your flight uses Terminal 3, allow time to collect at the named Terminal 1 or 2 counter and then transfer.
Outside these stations: same day is not universal
Yamato lists participating Tokyo branches for a separate same-day service to Haneda: drop off by 11:00, collect from 17:00 at its airport counter, subject to the flight and counter conditions. This is a branch-based Haneda option, not a Tokyo Station desk or a same-day Narita service. In the Kansai region, Yamato's Kyoto Station Center to Kansai Airport route is a useful alternative, but it specifies airport collection the next day. Ordinary airport courier services can take longer still; the words “airport delivery” alone do not mean today.

Find your actual drop-off point and cutoff
Tokyo Station, Keisei Ueno and a storefront near Tokyo Station are three different locations. Include the walk, ticket-gate side and queue in your plan; reaching the building at the cutoff is not enough.

Find the named collection counter and earliest time
Check airport, terminal, floor, operator, desk hours and what proof you must show. “Arrives around 16:00” is not a guaranteed handover at precisely 16:00; traffic and processing may delay it.

Work backwards from airline bag-drop closure
Add travel to the airport, the wait for the bag, any terminal transfer, security and the airline's own check-in deadline. If the published earliest collection leaves no buffer, carry the bag yourself or send it a day earlier.

Keep the documents and essentials
Carry your passport, cash, cards, medicine, phone, travel documents and anything you need before pickup. Keep the service receipt, bag number and contact details, and photograph the bag before handover.
Example: a 17:00 international flight is a poor fit
If the bag can only be collected from 16:00, there may be too little time to receive it, move between terminals and meet airline bag-drop and security deadlines. Check your airline's exact deadline; this example is a warning, not a universal flight cutoff.
Frequently asked questions
Can I send it from any station, locker or hotel?
No. A locker normally stores the bag where you leave it. Even a delivery-enabled locker or hotel needs an exact eligible airport route and date in its booking flow. Confirm both endpoints and the pickup window before paying.
Is airport collection the same as checking in luggage?
No. Collect the suitcase from the delivery company's counter, then take it to your airline's bag-drop desk yourself. An airline counter and a delivery counter may be in different parts of the terminal.
What if the bag is late?
Call the carrier or service counter immediately using the receipt and tracking number. Tell the airline before its check-in deadline if your flight is at risk. Do not assume the airline will hold the plane or transfer your undelivered bag automatically.
What about Narita Terminal 3?
Do not assume a listed Terminal 1 or 2 collection point serves Terminal 3 directly. Confirm your route's actual counter, then budget for the airport transfer to Terminal 3.
